The Raven Half Marathon
Welcome to The Raven, a hauntingly beautiful 13.5-mile trail race through the heart of Bald Eagle State Forest, PA — where rugged climbs, winding singletrack, and dense Pennsylvania forests test your resolve. Whether you’re chasing a new challenge or just trying to outrun your doubts, The Raven is calling.
Why The Raven?
Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s chilling masterpiece, this race is more than just miles — it’s an experience. The twisting trails of Poe Valley mirror the eerie rhythm of Poe’s poetry: dark pines, rocky ascents, and the ever-present feeling that nature is watching.
Just as the Raven’s haunting refrain echoed through the chamber, your footsteps will echo along ridgelines, under towering hardwoods, and past through still mountain streams.
